Stealth Beach House

Set within the tightly held enclave of Old Dunsborough, just moments from the shoreline, the site offered a rare opportunity to explore a contemporary interpretation of the Australian beach house.

In collaboration with international architect Studio Derickx, the vision proposed two standalone coastal residences that respond thoughtfully to their surroundings while maintaining a sense of privacy and calm within the coastal streetscape.

The architecture draws on a restrained coastal palette calm, airy and light-filled - balanced by the strength and permanence of rammed earth. This grounding material anchors the homes to their environment, echoing the weathered textures and natural tones found along the coastline.

The Stealth Beach Houses concept captures a refined vision of coastal living - contemporary, relaxed and deeply connected to place within one of Western Australia’s most sought-after seaside communities.
