Stealth Farmhouse
Where it all began.
After several years living overseas, a return to Western Australia led to the search for a place that offered a deeper connection to landscape and a slower rhythm of life.

That search eventually led to a unique property in the Yallingup hinterland, overlooking an undulating valley and tranquil dam, framed by a mature gum tree that anchors the site.
The vision for the home drew inspiration from the silhouette of the classic Australian shed - simple, gabled and grounded in rural vernacular, yet elevated through considered architectural detail.
Working with local building designer Lurie, the concept was developed into a refined pavilion-style home. Every element was carefully considered, from the relationship between indoor and outdoor living to the framing of views across the valley.

Clad in Monument and set lightly within the landscape, the home appears to recede into its surroundings when viewed from the valley below. The restrained material palette and simple form allow the architecture to sit quietly within the broader environment.

Stealth Farmhouse became the foundation for shaping our approach to development - projects shaped by their setting, grounded in quality materials and designed with a timeless architectural language.
Today, the home belongs to new custodians who continue to enjoy the qualities that inspired its creation. As the studio’s first realised project, Stealth Farmhouse remains an important milestone in the evolution of our work.
