Stealth Farmhouse
Where it all began.
After years spent living overseas, Australia was calling us home. Our hearts were drawn to the rugged beauty of Yallingup in Western Australia, a place where the rhythm of life slows, the air smells of salt and eucalyptus, and the landscape stretches out.
For years, we searched for the right piece of land. Somewhere to step away from the pace of everyday life, and simply be within nature. Then, we found it, a unique property overlooking an undulating valley and dam, framed by a majestic gum tree whose branches painted golden shadows across the grass each evening.

The vision came quickly. Inspired by the silhouette of the classic Australian shed, we imagined a gabled pavilion home, corrugated, simple in form, yet elevated in detail. Engaging with local building designer Lurie, we refined every line, every junction, every view. The result was a place that encouraged calm and connection, that felt at once part of the land and an architectural standout in its own right.

We pictured weekends gathered with family and friends, conversations by the fire, and the slow theatre of the valley unfolding before us. This became the heart of our brief.
From the valley below, the home, clad in Monument, seems to disappear into the landscape. Just the way we wanted to escape, too.

Today, the home belongs to new custodians. They have made it their own, embracing the same quiet pleasures that inspired its creation. Watching ducks wander by the dam. Hosting long afternoons with friends and holding special memories with family. Hearing that involuntary “wow” as guests step into the expansive living space. The Stealth Farmhouse was built to hold moments like these and it continues to do just that.
